Children with the clinical diagnosis of pneumonia were included. Age, gender, weight, height, duration of illness and
oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry was assessed. Weight and height was plotted on the standard growth chart to determine the
centiles and those with oxygen saturation < 90% was labeled as hypoxemic.
