SEMANTICS OF DIVINE ATTRIBUTES
Abstract
In theology, an important issue is the interpretation of the divine
attributes. The question that arises in this regard is: whether it is
possible to identify divine attributes? Does the same sense can be
used about human traits and divine attributes? In this study, it is
tried to analysis the viewpoint of Martyr Mortaza Motahari
regarding divine attributes.The author concludes that Mortaza
Motahari rejects the doctrine of transcendence and pure metaphor
and believes that attributes such as knowledge, life and power have
equal meaning between God and man.
