اسلامی فرقوں کے درمیان مکالمے کے اصول وضوابط

Abstract
In addition to being a complete religion, Islam presents solutions to all human problems. The determination of the principles and rules of human sociality is one of the major problems of human beings. Islam considers dialogue among humans as the basic principel of human sociality. For dialogue there are certain principles and rules both in the case of agreement and disagreement. These principles have been termed as ‘the concept of brotherhood’, ‘good assumption of other sects’, ‘concentration on mutual problems’, ‘broad-mindedness on ideological differences’, ‘respect for the ideas and thoughts of others’, ‘familiarity with the life of the Prophet’s Household, his companions and other religious figures’. For us, the reason behind disunity and hostility amongst Muslim sects is to not understand each other’s sects from their basic sources. The major reason for the sectarian biasness in Muslim societies is, therefore, sectarian ignorance. This paper is about those problems and their solutions which argues that following conditions are essential for the beginning of a purposeful dialogue: to understand other sects from their reliable sources, the publication of books on mutually-agreed Islamic beliefs, ideas and jurisprudential issues, the establishment of socio-religious contacts between Ulama and religious students, organization of academic activities between universities and madaris, the publication of journals and periodicals on mutual issues with a broader thinking, mutual respect for sectarian sensitivities.
