THE NATURE & CLASSIFICATION OF KNOWLEDGE FROM RELIGIOUS PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
From Islamic point of view, all sciences are in fact means to
recognize God. That`s why Knowledge by its nature could’nt be
divided into different types. Yes, it could be classified. Moreover,
the purpose of acquiring knowledge is to find the opportunities of
spiritual and materialistic benefits for humanity according to Islam
and Quran & Hadith are also considered as the ultimate sciences in
this context. So, a person seeking knowledge, can know the facts
only if he accepts the reality of meta-physics along with physics,
natural & social sciences, and makes himself bound to the ultimate
condition of being beneficial for humanity.
